Camberley Boys offer their sincere condolences to Rob, Cecilia and Steven McNamara on the untimely death of Steven’s granddad Bob McNamara. Bob was a well loved supporter and a more than able assistant to Rob and the Team. Bob always had a smile on his face and was ever encouraging all the boys to do their best, he will be sorely missed. The Club would like to thank David Wild who succeeded in keeping Bob alive until the belated arrival of the emergency ambulance. I know the incident was upsetting to many involved but I would like to thank all who helped from the bottom of my heart for their efforts. Perhaps in recognition of Bob’s untimely death we could name this year’s U9 trophy in his honour at the Camberley Boys football tournament.
