Camberley stormed back into form at this home fixture, again without the service of some important players due to absence and injury.
The Royals put the pressure on Theale from the start, forcing an error from the keeper in the first five minutes which enabled Bradley to score his first goal for the Royals. Theale fought back however and had a number of shots on goal demanding Dan, who was on his form of the season, to make three fantastic saves. This definitely put the visitors on the back foot and developed more confidence within the Royals. As a result many more chances were created going forward, and following a pass back after a corner kick, Ollie L. curved a shot into the far post from the right.
2-0 is a good position at half time, but we know from experience that it is an insufficient cushion. So, Camberley worked hard from the whistle, holding the ball well, keeping Theale in their half and pushing forward all the time. This effort was rewarded with a good goal snatched by Ryan.
From then on, Theale seemed to have their heads down and although they made a few attempts on goal, the Royals defence and Dan in goal ensured that these were well managed and turned back into attacking moves, which were capitalized into three more goals...more
